Sorry for not replying sooner but have had great difficulty in sourcing updated drivers for my scanner, it appears that Canon has made a decision not to update drivers for this product to work with Windows 10, and so it looks like my flatbed scanner old model it may be is to be confined to the scrapheap.

What I have done is to create an install of Win10 32bit version on a second partition, then if I need to scan something on the flatbed I switch to that partion, scan and switch back. In reply to OscarOwen’s post on December 6, I have actually had it working but under a clean install of Win10 32bit. No luck under the 64 bit version though. I have had this working properly though and have scanned photos perfectly fine. It seems to hinge on getting the Canoscan driver installed, which it doesn’t seem to like doing. Thanks for your input. My system is a 64bit install of windows 10 and as you have encountered my problem, canon have not produced a driver for this scanner.
